Drew Gilbert Excelling In Mets Organization
1 year agoNew York Mets outfield prospect Drew Gilbert is off to an incredible start with Double-A Binghamton since being acquired by the Mets in the Justin Verlander trade. He had his sixth multi-hit game since joining Binghamton, going 3-for-3 with four RBI and his 14th home run of the season in his latest start. The 22-year-old is slashing .367/.418/.571 with two home runs, eight runs, 11 RBI, and a stolen base through 13 games with the Mets organization, now sporting an .844 OPS on the season. Gilbert is not a focus in redraft leagues yet, but he remains a top outfield prospect in the dynasty format.
