4 years agoNew Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees (ribs) is going for some X-rays and an MRI exam on Monday after taking a hard hit in the Week 10 win over the 49ers. Brees left the game and was questionable to return against San Francisco. The 41-year-old has been dealing with some injuries this year and came into the game wearing a flak jacket, so he's clearly not 100 percent. Brees went 8-for-13 for 76 yards and a touchdown before leaving with the injury, but he's not a lock to play in Week 11 against the Falcons until we know more about his injury. If the future Hall of Famer misses time, it will be Jameis Winston under center and not Taysom Hill. If Winston were to start next weekend against Atlanta, he'd have some high-end QB2 appeal in a good matchup.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
