5 years agoNew Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton has declined to name a starting quarterback for Week 8 against the Cardinals. Drew Brees (thumb) was limited in practice on Thursday and isn't being ruled out over Teddy Bridgewater just yet. It wouldn't be a surprise if the Saints hold Brees out another week with their bye coming in Week 9, but it sounds like Brees is pushing to play for the first time since his injury in Week 2. If he returns, Brees will have QB1 upside in a great matchup against Arizona. On the other hand, Bridgewater won't be a bad streamer if Brees rests up for another week. We might not know who is starting under center for New Orleans until Sunday morning.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
