6 years agoNew Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees and running back Alvin Kamara are both inactive for Week 17 against the Panthers. The Saints have already locked up home-field advantage and the No. 1 seed in the NFC playoffs, so it doesn't make sense for their studs to play in a meaningless game. Don't expect Michael Thomas or Mark Ingram to play much either, if at all. Wide receiver Ted Ginn is also inactive. Rookie wideouts Tre'Quan Smith and Keith Kirkwood should see plenty of playing time in the passing game, while Dwayne Washington could see a significant role in the backfield behind quarterback Teddy Bridgewater and Taysom Hill.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
