Carolina Panthers interim head coach Steve Wilks is approaching the backfield as a "by-committee" approach with running backs D'Onta Foreman, Chuba Hubbard and Raheem Blackshear after the team traded star running back Christian McCaffrey to the San Francisco 49ers on Thursday night. Wilks did not name a starter for Week 7 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. It will most likely be Foreman and Hubbard splitting the majority of the work moving forward. Foreman has twice as many carries (12) as Hubbard through six games and has rushed for 37 yards (3.1 yards per carry). In a poor Panthers offense, neither RB will have very much fantasy appeal as anything more than an RB3/flex option in deeper leagues if they split the backfield touches down the middle going forward.--Keith Hernandez
