Donovan Mitchell Remains In Prolific Form Tuesday Versus Boston
11 months agoCleveland Cavaliers guard Donovan Mitchell produced a game-high 33 points on 12-for-25 shooting as the team had to settle for a 120-95 loss in Game 1 against Boston on Tuesday. He hit four shots from deep with 11 attempts and collected six rebounds, five assists, and one steal. The Cleveland star has now scored 122 across the past three games. Mitchell has been in spectacular form lately, but he definitely needs more help if the Cavaliers want to make Boston sweat in the series.

Donovan Mitchell Unavailable Against Portland
5 days agoCleveland Cavaliers guard Donovan Mitchell (groin) will not suit up for Tuesday's clash against the Portland Trail Blazers. He has been ruled out for groin injury management purposes. Ty Jerome, De'Andre Hunter, and Isaac Okoro are expected to fill larger roles with Mitchell unavailable. The latter started in Mitchell's place in back-to-back games when he was out earlier this month with a groin injury. However, Jerome and Hunter are definitely the better fantasy options, as Okoro struggles to fill the stat sheet even if he logs 30-plus minutes.

Donovan Mitchell Returning Versus Orlando
2 weeks agoCleveland Cavaliers guard Donovan Mitchell (groin) will return from a two-game absence for Sunday's matchup with the Orlando Magic. The 28-year-old has battled a sore groin. However, it didn't stop the Cavaliers from extending their win streak to 16 games. De'Andre Hunter and Ty Jerome got some extra work while Mitchell was out, with Darius Garland and Evan Mobley (foot) carrying most of the load offensively. But with Mobley ruled out, there's still room for at least Hunter to remain involved from off the bench.

Donovan Mitchell Questionable Against Orlando
2 weeks agoCleveland Cavaliers guard Donovan Mitchell (groin) is questionable for Sunday's matchup with the Orlando Magic. The 28-year-old has missed the last two games because of groin soreness. Yet, the Cavaliers have been just fine without him, with the team winning the last 16 games. If Mitchell doesn't make it back on Sunday, Evan Mobley (foot), who is questionable, and Darius Garland, combining for 42 points in Friday's win over the Grizzlies, will likely remain the Cavs' top offensive producers. De'Andre Hunter and Ty Jerome should also be more involved on the scoring end from off the bench.

Donovan Mitchell Ruled Out For Friday
2 weeks agoCleveland Cavaliers guard Donovan Mitchell (groin) has been ruled out ahead of Friday's game against the Memphis Grizzlies. Mitchell will miss his second game in a row due to left groin soreness. The Cavs are in good enough position playoff-wise that they don't need to push Mitchell out there if he isn't 100 percent healthy. Isaac Okoro figures to remain in the starting five for at least one more game. He finished with six points and five rebounds across 32 minutes on Tuesday. It doesn't appear that the extended playing time is going to make Okoro a viable fantasy option.
