Donovan Mitchell Drops Season-High 36 Points
4 years agoUtah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell scored a season-high 36 points with seven rebounds, six triples, five assists, and a block in a 129-118 win over the Pelicans. Mitchell had it all going in this one but was particularly strong from beyond the arc, where he shot 75 percent. He became the fastest player in NBA history to make 600 threes, which is pretty amazing- he did it in fewer games than Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson. Mitchell has been a beast lately, as he has scored 25+ in six of his last seven contests. He'll have a good chance of staying hot on Saturday against the Warriors, who rank 24th in opponent points per game.
