The Ottawa Senators have acquired winger Dominik Kubalik from the Detroit Red Wings in a deal that saw the team depart with Alex DeBrincat. The Czech forward will suit up for a third team in three seasons after joining the Red Wings as a free agent from Chicago last year. Kubalik had a decent season in Motown, posting 20 goals and 45 points in 81 games while averaging less than 15 minutes of ice time, but his form faded badly over the last couple of months. He now gets a fresh start in Canada, entering his fifth NHL season sitting on 82 goals and 161 points in 283 career games.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
