Dominic Leone Traded To The Angels Tuesday
1 year agoThe New York Mets traded right-hander Dominic Leone to the Los Angeles Angels on Tuesday, according to MLB.com. In exchange, the Mets received infield prospect Jeremiah Jackson, who becomes the Met's top 22nd prospect, as per MLB Pipeline. Leone comes to LA sporting a 4.40 ERA and 1,24 WHIP with 33 punchouts, two holds, and no saves across 30 2/3 innings this season. The club has a solid back end of the bullpen, so the 31-year-old likely won't be much of a factor in any format going forward.
