Domingo German Tosses Seven Scoreless Innings In Win
4 years agoNew York Yankees starting pitcher Domingo German had his second consecutive strong outing in Wednesday's win over the Orioles. German tossed seven scoreless innings, allowing just three hits and a walk while fanning six batters. The 28-year-old looked very sharp and didn't allow a hit until the bottom half of the fifth inning. German showcased increased velocity on all his pitches and earned an excellent 35 percent called strikes plus whiffs mark. He's now recorded a quality start with at least six strikeouts in each of his last two outings ahead of a tricky May 4 matchup against the Astros.
