Domingo German Picks Up League-Leading 16th Win
5 years agoNew York Yankees starter Domingo German continued his sensational 2019 campaign by recording his 16th victory Tuesday night, the most in the majors. The 27-year-old went seven innings against the Baltimore Orioles, allowing two runs on five hits and a walk. He struck out seven and allowed a pair home runs, tossing 93 pitches along the way. While his record improved to a fantastic 16-2, his ERA still stands out in a negative way, now at 3.96. This was the first of a two-start week for the Dominican native, who's scheduled to start Sunday against the Cleveland Indians.
