Domingo German Ejected After Sticky-Stuff Suspicions
2 years agoNew York Yankees starting pitcher Domingo German was ejected from Tuesday's start against the Toronto Blue Jays before the beginning of the fourth inning after the umpires felt the righty was using sticky stuff. According to Greg Joyce of the New York Post, the league will hand down an automatic 10-game ban to the 30-year-old. Before German's ejection, he was cruising, allowing no baserunners while striking out two. Fantasy owners in most formats will miss his two wins, 3.75 ERA, 0.90 WHIP, and 49 punchouts over 48 innings for over a week when he begins his suspension. It's unclear who will take his spot in the rotation, so stay tuned.
