Dolphins D/ST Smothers Browns In Key Win
2 days agoThe Miami Dolphins defense/special teams took care of the Cleveland Browns offense on Sunday, holding them to a lone field goal while forcing two turnovers and a sack in a 20-3 victory that preserved their playoff chances for another week. With Cleveland playing third-string quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson, Miami's defense held the Browns to 276 on 76 plays, including a paltry 3.4 yards per completion. On a day with poor weather and an injured starting quarterback in Tua Tagovailoa (hip), the Miami defense certainly did its part to earn the win. The Dolphins will conclude the regular season at the New York Jets in Week 18.
