Dolphins Could Pass On QB With First Pick
5 years agoThere has been buzz that the Miami Dolphins could pass on a quarterback at pick No. 5 in the first round and instead take an offensive tackle, with the idea of taking a swing at a player like Utah State quarterback Jordan Love later on. There have also been whispers from other teams that the Dolphins won't take Alabama's Tua Tagovailoa, so if they do go with a signal-caller at No. 5, it might be Oregon's Justin Herbert instead. Miami is keeping their draft plans very close to the vest, so it's anyone's guess who they go with at No. 5, but they obviously would like to find their franchise QB in this draft. Veteran Ryan Fitzpatrick can help groom whoever they select and give them time to learn for at least half a season.
