3 years agoThe Miami Dolphins claimed running back Phillip Lindsay off waivers from the Houston Texans on Wednesday. Lindsay had his job taken from him by Rex Burkhead in Houston before he was cut this week, so the former undrafted free-agent star with the Denver Broncos has fallen on hard times in 2021. The 27-year-old managed a pathetic 2.6 yards per carry for 130 yards and a touchdown on 50 rushing attempts in 10 games for the Texans while sharing touches with David Johnson and Mark Ingram II. He added three catches for 27 yards and another touchdown through the air. Lindsay will have a better chance for fantasy value in deep PPR leagues in Miami, but he's currently fourth on their RB depth chart behind Myles Gaskin, Salvon Ahmed and Patrick Laird.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
