Dodgers Sign Jesse Hahn To Minors Deal
10 months agoThe Los Angeles Dodgers signed free-agent right-hander Jesse Hahn to a minor-league deal on Wednesday that includes an invite to big-league spring training, according to sources. Hahn has pitched in parts of seven seasons in the majors with the San Diego Padres, Oakland Athletics and Kansas City Royals but hasn't appeared in a professional game since 2021. In his seven major-league campaigns, the 34-year-old veteran has a 19-21 record with a 4.22 ERA (3.93 FIP), 1.34 WHIP, four saves and a weak 18 percent strikeout rate in 311 1/3 innings over 82 appearances (50 starts). Hahn will have an uphill battle to climb and perhaps even stay healthy as he competes for a roster spot in spring training on a stacked Dodgers roster.
