Dodgers Bringing Up Hunter Feduccia
4 months agoThe Los Angeles Dodgers are calling up catching prospect Hunter Feduccia from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Saturday, according to sources. Feduccia isn't among the team's top-30 prospects and is old for a rookie at 27 years old, but he's earned his first big-league call-up this year by hitting .295/.420/.451 with an .871 OPS, five home runs, 14 doubles, three triples, 42 RBI and 31 runs scored in 64 games with OKC in the hitter-friendly Pacific Coast League. Will Smith and Austin Barnes are both healthy, so Feduccia is probably just coming up to provide the Dodgers with a little extra catching depth in the short term. Feduccia was a 12th-round selection by the Dodgers back in 2018 out of LSU. The 6-foot-1, 215-pounder hits from the left side and doesn't feature much power. He can be ignored in most fantasy formats with no clear path to playing time.
