Dodgers Being Conservative With A.J. Pollock
5 years agoThe Los Angeles Dodgers are being conservative with outfielder A.J. Pollock (groin) due to lingering groin tightness, which is why he wasn't in the lineup on Friday. With Cody Bellinger able to play center field and with the Dodgers having a huge division lead, the team hasn't need to place him on the injured list. Injuries continue to keep Pollock from reaching his full potential as a professional. The 31-year-old is slashing a decent .263/.322/.452 on the year with eight home runs, 33 runs, 30 RBI and two steals in 186 at-bats. He's a frustrating fantasy option right now because he's been in and out of the lineup, so you may want to keep him benched until he's back to full health. The Dodgers have the luxury of resting him up so that he'll be ready to rock for the playoffs come October.
