DK Metcalf Has Dream Matchup In Week 15
11 months agoSeattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf caught a touchdown pass from backup quarterback Drew Lock in Week 14 but had just one other catch in the game for a total of 52 yards. Stymied for the second time in three weeks by the San Francisco 49ers, Metcalf's frustrations boiled over late in the fourth quarter and he was ejected after getting a little too rough with linebacker Fred Warner. The passionate wideout is in line for a more productive game on Monday night, when the Seahawks take on the Philadelphia Eagles, who are allowing the most fantasy points per game to opposing wide receivers in 2023. Cornerback Darius Slay (knee) will be out following surgery, so unless James Bradberry slides over to cover Metcalf, it will likely be rookie Kelee Ringo's job to cover the fifth-year veteran. In Week 15, Metcalf is a high-end WR2 whose upside will rest on the availability of quarterback Geno Smith (groin) who is listed as questionable.
