DJ LeMahieu's Hit Streak Broken Up
7 years agoColorado Rockies second baseman DJ LeMahieu took a rare hitless performance on Tuesday as he was kept off the bases while the rest of his compatriots teed off on Mets pitching. LeMahieu has settled right back into his role as a table setter since having returned from the disabled list on June 1, as he's accumulated a whopping 16 runs in the 17 games. He's even rocking a .423 slugging percentage over that stretch, one of the highest of his career. At seven home runs so far, he should easily surpass his previous career high of 11, though it's unlikely his batting average reaches anything above .305 again.
