6 years agoNew York Yankees infielder DJ LeMahieu underwent an MRI exam on Monday which revealed inflammation in his right knee. LeMahieu suffered a contusion on his knee after fouling a pitch off his knee on Friday and he left the game early on Sunday. He's listed as day-to-day. Infielder Giovanny Urshela also left the game Sunday after being hit on the left hand by a pitch, but X-rays came back negative. There's a chance both LeMahieu and Urshela could return Tuesday against Arizona. They have both been hitting the ball well and helping carry a New York offense that is without many of their superstars.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
