San Diego Padres starter Dinelson Lamet was excellent on Thursday, tossing three scoreless innings while allowing just one hit in a 3-0 victory over the Mariners. Lamet had his slider working to perfection, striking out five batters over his three innings. The 27-year old has not allowed a run across five spring innings while allowing just two hits. Lamet has secured a spot in the Padres' starting rotation and will be an excellent source of strikeouts, as he struck out 105 batters in just 73 innings last season. At his ADP of 130 Lamet has one of the highest strikeout upsides of anyone at that point in the draft.--Jonathan Chan - Rotoballer
