The New York Giants placed defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence (elbow) on season-ending Injured Reserve on Monday. Lawrence won't be able to make it back for the Giants' final five games of the season after suffering a dislocated elbow in last Thursday's Thanksgiving Day loss to the division-rival Dallas Cowboys. It's a serious blow for New York's pass-rushing unit, as the 27-year-old had recorded a career-high and team-high nine sacks in his first 12 starts after making the Pro Bowl each of the last two seasons with the team. It's also a big loss for fantasy managers in IDP leagues, as Lawrence was entering Week 14 action as the No. 9 overall defensive lineman in overall fantasy points. Lawrence's play on the interior of New York's defensive line had been one of the few bright spots for a 2-10 Giants squad in 2024.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
