DeVonta Smith Should Be Better In Week 3
3 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles rookie wide receiver DeVonta Smith had a rough Week 2 but could bounce back quickly with a solid Week 3 performance. In Week 2, Smith led the Eagles in targets (seven) but only caught two passes for a total of 16 yards. His usage was the key thing to look at though, as the entire Eagles offense struggled against a strong 49ers defense. In Week 3's Monday Night Football matchup against the Dallas Cowboys, quarterback Jalen Hurts should have a much easier time throwing to his favorite target. Smith has some nice upside this week, but comes in as a high-end WR3 because of some risk involved as well.
