DeVonta Smith Leads Eagles In Receiving, Scores Touchdown
2 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith caught 6-of-10 targets, gained 61 yards, and caught a touchdown during the team's 98-7 playoff victory over the New York Giants. With cornerback Adoree' Jackson shadowing teammate A.J. Brown for the majority of the game, Smith was peppered with targets early and often and was the only Eagles wide receiver to catch a touchdown. Philadelphia ran the ball at a high rate in their blowout victory over the Giants, passing for just 154 yards. However, it did not stop the second-year receiver from having a solid fantasy performance. Smith will be heavily involved next week, no matter which team of either Dallas or San Francisco advances to the NFC Championship game. With a rock-solid target share no matter the opponent, Smith will be a top-tier option for those playing in DFS tournaments or playoff leagues.
