Devonta Smith and Travis Fulgham Get First Reps
3 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles wide receivers DeVonta Smith and Travis Fulgham started the day as the first two wide receivers at Eagles camp on Wednesday. While comments from the Eagles have stated that the depth chart is in flux at many positions, how things get started can be quite telling. Dallas Goedert also got the first reps at tight end, but that was mostly expected after the disappointing season Zach Ertz had last year. Smith and Fulgham could form a strong duo as long as sophomore quarterback Jalen Hurts is able to get the passing game going this year. He was excellent on the ground but struggled through the air. There's a wide range of possibilities for the Eagles on offense, but Smith's talent is enough to shine through most issues.
