Devonta Freeman Totals 100 Yards From Scrimmage In Week 4
5 years agoAtlanta Falcons running back Devonta Freeman had his largest yardage output of the season in Week 4 despite struggling mightily on the ground. He rushed 12 times for just 28 yards, good for only 2.3 yards per carry. His day was saved through the air as he caught eight of his nine targets for 72 yards. Freeman's statline would have looked a lot better had he scored the touchdown that his backup Ito Smith ran in. Smith only had two carries for 11 yards in the game, but the touchdown run was a big one. Freeman's owners should certainly love to see him getting 20 touches in the game, but hopefully he'll make a bit more out of his touches next week against the Texans.
