6 years agoAtlanta Falcons head coach Dan Quinn said that running back Devonta Freeman (groin), who had successful groin surgery on Thursday, could come off Injured Reserve to play again this year. However, his return will likely depend on where the team stands in the playoff picture. Freeman would be eligible to return on Dec. 23 against the Panthers. By then, most fantasy leagues are already in the thick of the playoffs, so Freeman can be dumped in single-year formats.
