Devin Williams Wearing Splint Following Surgery
3 years agoMilwaukee Brewers relief pitcher Devin Williams (hand) underwent surgery on his broken right hand on Friday. He is currently wearing a splint and we certainly won't be seeing him in the NLDS as the Brewers face the Atlanta Braves. However, David Stearns, the Brewers' President of Baseball Operations, stated last week that Williams could potentially be available if the team advances to the World Series. Of course, that would require Williams to contain his excitement throughout a Brewers playoff run. The 27-year-old broke his hand while punching a wall during a celebration of the team's NL Central title.
