Devin Vassell, Spurs Agree To Extension
1 year agoAccording to ESPN senior NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski, San Antonio Spurs guard Devin Vassell agreed to a five-year, $146 million contract extension with the team. The 23-year-old is coming off his most productive season, averaging 18.5 points, 3.9 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 1.1 steals. He also shot a career-high 38.7% from behind the arc. However, he suffered a knee injury and was limited to 38 games. It's no secret that the Spurs are rebuilding. But the club made it a priority to keep Vassell on the roster. Assuming he remains on the court during the 2023-24 campaign, he has All-Star potential.
