DeSean Jackson Likely Too Risky To Start In Week 5
4 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson (hamstring) returned to practice on Wednesday and will likely be listed as questionable for Week 5 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Jackson will be way too risky to start in most formats even if he gets the go-ahead from the Eagles medical team. The Eagles passing game has been struggling in general this season, and this week they get a Steelers Defense that consistently pressures opposing quarterbacks. Besides all that, Jackson will be at risk of re-injuring his hamstring. For a player that relies on speed and deep routes, the combination of a hamstring injury and a quarterback who will likely need to get rid of the ball quickly makes for a zero-floor outlook.
