DeSean Jackson Expected To Practice Soon
5 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson (abdomen) is expected to rejoin the team on the field soon if the team makes the postseason and advances to the Divisional round, according to a source. Jackson is feeling good after having core surgery, but he's not eligible to return from Injured Reserve until the second round of the playoffs. Philly must either beat the Giants in Week 17 or get a loss from the Cowboys to secure the division. Then they must win in the Divisional round, which will be a tall task with how banged up they are on offense. The 33-year-old Jackson hasn't played since Nov. 3, so it's debatable how effective he would be in the playoffs if he returned. He'd be a boom/bust DFS option as a deep threat for the Eagles if they advance that far.
