DeSean Jackson Could Return In Postseason
5 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson (abdomen) has been running, doing some light sprinting, some light cutting and catching the football, and he could return in the second round of the playoffs if the Eagles beat the Cowboys this Sunday and win the NFC East. D-Jax underwent core surgery on Nov. 5 and is roughly six weeks removed from a surgery that was expected to take six to eight weeks to recover from. It's still all very much up in the air, and the Eagles must first make the playoffs, but it's possible that Jackson could return and give Philly's offense a much-needed boost through the air. Alshon Jeffery (foot) is done for the season and Nelson Agholor (knee) is expected to miss another game this weekend. The Eagles are forced to lean on J.J. Arcega-Whiteside, Greg Ward and Robert Davis against Dallas.
