Derrius Guice Dealing With Meniscus Injury
5 years agoWashington Redskins running back Derrius Guice (knee) is dealing with a meniscus injury and is hoping it's a sprain and that he'll miss just a few weeks, according to a source. We'll know more on a timetable for his return once the results of his tests are known. Veteran Adrian Peterson was a healthy scratch in Week 1, but he'll jump into the fray as the primary early down back in Week 2 against the Cowboys, giving him RB3/flex value. Chris Thompson will remain a PPR flex option as Washington's third-down back. With the 'Skins likely to be trailing frequently in 2019, Thompson could have steady value as a pass-catcher all season.
