Derrick Rose To Sign With Pistons

The Detroit Pistons have agreed to a two-year deal with former NBA MVP Derrick Rose. The point guard joins Detroit after playing 51 games last year for the Timberwolves. Rose averaged 18 points and 4.3 rebounds per game while posting the highest effective field goal percentage of his career last season, a huge comeback for Rose. But there are questions about Rose’s health and how much his bounce back year can be believed, especially if Rose is asked to carry the starting job in Detroit. He’s bound to be overdrafted in fantasy leagues this season based on last year’s production, but there are plenty of reasons to not believe that Rose can sustain that with a larger offensive load as a Piston.
