Derrick Rose Scores Team-High 31 Points
6 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves point guard Derrick Rose continued his renaissance on Wednesday night, scoring a team-high 31 points in a 114-110 loss to the Lakers. He was superb from downtown with seven triples and shot 11-for-17 overall from the field. Rose also had five assists in the game with four turnovers. The former league MVP is basically the only bright spot in Minnesota's miserable season so far, and he'll have a chance to keep rolling against the Kings next, who are allowing opposing point guards to score 24 points per 48 minutes against them. Rose could be set for another vintage performance on Friday.
