Derrick Henry Has Record-Setting Night Versus Jacksonville
6 years agoTennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry stole the show on Thursday Night Football, setting the Titans single-game rushing record with 238 yards and four touchdowns on just 17 carries. Henry also tied the record for longest run in NFL history with a 99-yard touchdown. The Jacksonville defenders had seemingly no desire to bring Henry down in the open field all night as he sprung long run after long run. This game served as a reward for any fantasy owners still brave, or desperate, enough to start Henry after his underwhelming 2018 campaign. Expect the Titans to continue to try to lean on Henry down the stretch as they make a playoff push, but don't let this explosion create inflated expectations for his production going forward.
