Derrick Favors Scores 12 Points In 19 Minutes
6 years agoUtah Jazz forward/center Derrick Favors scored 12 points while adding five rebounds, one assist, and one block in 19 minutes during Saturday's blowout loss to the Denver Nuggets. Favors is technically listed as the team's starting power forward, but it's Jae Crowder who closes out games at the four-spot for the Utah Jazz. Favors isn't an ideal natural fit to play alongside Rudy Gobert, and his minutes per game have been slashed this season because of it. The 27-year-old is posting a plus/minus rating on the season of negative -4.0 and looks to be a depleting asset for Utah's team. Favors has been ok for owners that need rebounds and blocks, but he isn't a player that we consider a must-hold in standard leagues.
