Derek Holland Begins Rehab Assignment Tuesday

Detroit Tigers pitcher Derek Holland (shoulder) began a rehab assignment with Triple-A Toledo on Tuesday. He allowed one hit and one walk while striking out three across one inning during Tuesday's rehab assignment. The southpaw has been sidelined since early June with shoulder inflammation. He owns a 9.60 ERA, 2.07 WHIP, and a 20:9 K: BB across 15 innings in 2021. Holland could return after the All-Star break but fantasy managers can leave the 34-year-old on the waiver wire.
