1 year agoBrooklyn Nets guard Dennis Smith Jr. (back) missed the last seven games due to an upper back sprain but he confirmed before tip-off that he would be available to play on Friday night. While Smith has been out, the Nets have lacked a reserve for their backcourt. They've had bigger lineups with Day'Ron Sharpe, Trendon Watford, Jalen Wilson, and Harry Giles all getting minutes. Smith was seeing around 20 minutes a night off of the bench when healthy, so his role should return to around the same. His value comes to fruition more in deeper leagues since he's a bit inconsistent and his minutes fluctuate.--Alex Fischbein - RotoBaller
