Dennis Schroder Heading To Golden State
5 mins agoAccording to ESPN's Shams Charania, The Warriors have agreed to a deal with the Nets to acquire guard Dennis Schroder. In exchange, Brooklyn will receive De'Anthony Melton. Both sides had been in talks about a deal, with the Warriors acquiring Schroder mostly to help lessen the load in the ball handling department. But the veteran is also a capable producer and was having one of the best years of his career in Brooklyn, averaging 18.4 points and 6.6 assists. It's reasonable to assume Schroder will see a dip in scoring, at least on the nights he plays alongside Stephen Curry. But he should continue to receive plenty of minutes, which is good enough to keep him on fantasy rosters.
