Deneric Prince Expected To Make 53-Man Roster
1 year agoKansas City Chiefs rookie running back Deneric Prince went undrafted and signed with the team as a free agent, but Pete Sweeney of ArrowHeadPride.com said Prince should be written in ink on the Chiefs' 53-man roster. The 23-year-old is reportedly locked in as the team's kick returner and does not drop a pass. Prince began his collegiate career at Texas A&M before transferring to Tulsa for his final three seasons. He racked up 1,723 rushing yards and 14 touchdowns on 314 attempts and posted a 4.41 forty-yard dash during the pre-draft process. That said, he could add another element of speed as a committee back in Kansas City's offense. For now, he's an intriguing late-round fantasy option in deep leagues but he could be relegated to mostly special teams duties.
