Demario Douglas Quiet In Week 17 Loss
1 year agoNew England Patriots wide receiver Demario Douglas caught three of five targets for 31 yards during Sunday's loss to the Buffalo Bills. The Patriots' passing attack had a very poor performance this week and, as a result, Douglas suffered. This has become a similar theme throughout the second half of the season. The rookie receiver has flashed immense potential as a slot receiver, but his production is largely dependent on the success of a bottom-tier quarterback room. If Zappe can't move the offense down the field, Douglas is not going to thrive. He's merely a WR4 option in fantasy football for next week's game against the New York Jets.
