Demario Douglas Leads Patriots In Receiving Yards Sunday
1 year agoNew England Patriots wide receiver Demario Douglas turned eight targets into five catches for 74 yards against the Denver Broncos on Sunday. He bounced back after a subpar performance during last week's return from concussion protocol. The rookie now has at least five targets in five of his last six games as he continues to emerge as a reliable option for Bailey Zappe. The slot receiver won't always be a top yardage or touchdown contributor, but he gets open, catches passes, and is capable of making plays happen. His skill set earns him a heavy snap share, which leads to volume and increased fantasy value. He remains a low-end WR3 heading into Week 17 against Buffalo.
