6 years agoTexas Rangers outfielder Delino DeShields (head) is feeling much better and is taking batting practice, but he hasn't been medically cleared to play yet. DeShields is not "in the concussion protocol," which is goods news and means he should be able to return this weekend. The 25-year-old is hitting a disappointing .212 with two homers and 18 RBI on the year, but he does have 16 steals. As long as he's seeing consistent playing time, he's useful to owners in deeper leagues for his wheels, but his .307 on-base percentage leaves a lot to be desired.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
