6 years agoTexas Rangers outfielder Delino DeShields (finger) was seen wearing a splint on his right middle finger after the game on Thursday, but the team told him not to discuss it with the media. DeShields was hitless in three plate appearances against the Angels to drop his average to .204 on the year to go along with a .303 on-base percentage. The fact that he wasn't allowed to talk to the media could hint that it's a serious injury. Check back tomorrow to learn more on how long he might be out. DeShields does have 18 stolen bases this year, but it's hard to stomach along with the rest.
