Dee Gordon Injured Thursday
6 years agoSeattle Mariners second baseman Dee Gordon (wrist) left the game early on Thursday after being hit by a pitch on his right wrist. Gordon was hitless in two plate appearances with a walk and was also caught stealing before his injury. His fantasy value has increased now that he's hitting leadoff most days with Mallex Smith in the minor leagues, but you might need to prepare for an extended absence if his injury is serious. Gordon is hitting .304/.336/.406 with three home runs, 19 RBI and 10 stolen bases in 151 plate appearances. Fantasy owners like him mostly for his speed. Dylan Moore would likely see most of the starts at the keystone if Gordon misses any time.
