Dean Kremer Throws Seven Sharp Innings in Series Finale
7 months agoBaltimore Orioles starting pitcher Dean Kremer threw seven innings of one-run ball in a 3-2 loss against the Pittsburgh Pirates on Sunday. Kremer kept the Bucs at bay as he allowed five hits and one unearned run with six strikeouts. Kremer looked sharp across the first four frames, only allowing three hits. In the fifth, Edward Olivares was able to score but only reached scoring position due to a throwing error. Kremer then locked it down by only allowing one base runner over his last two innings. The Orioles were unable to hold the lead for Kremer, leaving him with a no-decision. Kremer struggled in his first start of the season as he allowed three runs in five ⅓ innings, but he looked sharp today. The 28-year-old tentatively lines up for a home start against the Milwaukee Brewers on April 13.
