De'Aaron Fox Posts A 40-Point Double-Double
2 years agoSacramento Kings point guard De'Aaron Fox scored a season-high 42 points and added 12 assists as the team pulled off a 176-175 double-overtime victory against the Clippers on Friday night. The two teams played out the second-highest scoring game ever in the NBA, and Fox made the final basket, putting the Kings up with 36 seconds remaining in the second overtime. He was also big at the other end of the court with a season-high five steals. Across 45 minutes of action, Fox added five rebounds with three turnovers, shooting 17-for-27 from the field and 2-for-4 from deep. Fox is fresh off his first All-Star appearance, and he's taken his game to the next level in recent weeks, averaging 31.6 points over a 10-game stretch.
