Daz Cameron Turning Heads
6 years agoDetroit Tigers outfielder Daz Cameron, the team's No. 5 prospect per MLB Pipeline, is hitting .360/.448/.720 and six of his nine spring hits have gone for extra bases. He has played exclusively center field through 14 Grapefruit League games and is showing that he's almost ready for the big leagues after making it all the way up to Triple-A last year. The 22-year-old hit .264/.343/.406 with eight home runs, 61 RBI and 24 stolen bases at three minor league levels in 2018. If he continues to produce, he could force the Tigers hand and make his major league debut in 2019.
